Travel Insurance

Options
Your site recommends Global Travel Insurance for Worldwide travel and family and people with medical conditions.

I signed on to the link and asked for a quote for 2 adults and one child and one infant. The quote came back as £1,1903 ... which I nearly fell off my chair.

I called the Company (01903-203933) since you had recommended them, to my dissmay, when I asked the gentlemen to check their website if the quote was correct, he informed me that his boss Mr Philip Bacon MD did not provide an internet service in the office, and if I wanted to complain I should email his MD.

For an Insurance Company who has its own website, and which their own Company Staff cannot access is crazy ... to say the least. Can you investigate please or maybe remove your recommendation which would save us the time and effort in trying to get genuine quotes ... thank you

We had so many ridiculous quotes for our travel insurance because we both have pre-existing medical conditions. We ended up with all the cover we needed for a Standard Annual Multi -trip for £150.61,in that was a charge of £19.98p for our medical conditions,Angina etc, some companies wanted £160 odd pounds just to cover that one condition, the company we used is called getMYtravel.com,I hope this is of help to you.I am fed up of Companies ripping people off because we are over a certain age etc.Good Luck with yours anyway.
  • Thank you for your reply, this will help me greatly. When I challenged my original quote from Global Travel Insurance the agent who answered the phone said he could not access the internet on the instruction of his MD Mr Bacon.

What a strange Company who has a website recommended by MoneySavingsExpert.com, but their staff have no access to the internet when you call their phone number.

Anyway thanks again I will log on to the link you gave me and see what quote I get it
