    The yacht.

But not a Sunseeker, thats a cruiser. A yacht has just gotta have sails. :)

As somebody has said though, 500k won't buy much of a Sunseeker, but it'll buy a top-of-the-range Beneteau!

    Not according to Sunseeker: http://www.sunseeker.com/yachts/

(If you are in the Navy you'd aruge that the only true "boat" is a submarine, based on the technicality of the word.)

But yachts and power-yachts have long been the terms used for these floating gin-palaces, by owners, manufacturers and everyone in-between.

"Sunseeker’s largest motoryachts represent a triumph of design, styling and engineering, placing the brand firmly in the international ship-building league.
If the ultimate status symbol is a yacht, then the ultimate style statement is a Sunseeker Yacht. Setting standards of refinement and luxury that have become the benchmarks in their class for others to follow, these imposing craft nonetheless continue the Sunseeker tradition of high performance and technical excellence."

Luxury to many of us, often encompasses things money just can't truly buy...

Perhaps the one other item not on the list which would interest me would be a cook, someone to prepare 2 or 3 lovely meals for us each day, all ingredients included - that would be a real luxury possession to me - probably because because of the earlier mentioned time issue in my earlier post.

If I was given 500K there is no way I'd waste it on the items listed, firstly I'd look a UK property...

I would've picked a sunny lovely pad in Spain - but for £500,000? Noooo way. So I'll take the bling, and keep it as a pretty solid investment. I wouldn't wear it though!

But you're not being given £500,000 - you're being given a prize worth £500,000

It's like entering a competition - you don't win and then say, oh I want the money, ta :D

    Martin :hello:

None of the options listed - where's the particle cannon??!!
  • If I really had to choose one it would be the Spanish home. Cheap holidays for ever for the kids. Then we could spend holiday money going where ever we want.

Holiday apartment, then part exchange to another property, then sell other property. Not as good as selling the apartment directly but it fits the rules.
