Hmmm, now found someone who will have a look at it (it's under warranty), but it might need to be replaced. OMG what will happen to all the music on it??? :eek:

Yes Snaggs, all stays on there, when I got my ipod (secondhand off ebay) there were quite a few tunes still on it, some were
others I'd never heard of 
Also my mate & I swap tunes be plugging into each others itunes on our respective pc's, with no problems - IYSWIM

Yes, anything you have bought from itunes will be on your library and when you sync your new one you can transfer all the music acrossToo much month, not enough Cash!
