Gemmzie is that the one with the resisitance band and the thing you put round your leg to put the nunchuck in? If so, I am right there with you. I got it the other week and did the 30 minute hard workout thinking cos I do a bit of running now that I was fit...............SO WRONG. the tops of my legs because of all the lunges and my arms with pulling the band were absolutely killing me the next day. So, I put it in the cupboard with the rest of the wii games and it hasn;t come out since :rotfl:
That's the one. I did a 30 minute easy last Fri and my thighs were killing me all day Sat at work.
I started the 30 day challenge today, I need to lose half a stone so need focus. Have given up drinking till then too (just don't tell my friends )No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Morning everyone, I've decided that rather than go on another diet which I will fail at miserably I am going for a different approach this time. I'm going to try and cut down on eating chocolate and all of that junk, but I've got a pedometer so I am just going to try and do 10,000 steps a day. And, no, I won't be running any of them *shudder*.:A

sounds like a plan toto! i like it;) I need to lose about 8 stone, and don't have a clue how to do it, other than just exercising my tail off, coz diets don't work.

Guess who my keys insurance was with.....yep you got it British Gas Homecare!!
Might be worth writing a letter of complaint (don;t ring...see below) about what was said when you took out the policy......
When I was told I wasn't covered for the pump any longer, I tried to make a formal complaint about what in my opinion was "sharp practice" concerning the selling/renewal/changing T's and C's of Homecare agreements and not advising the buyer of changes before taking the premium. The call handler was extremely rude.
The next time I was called about an "add-on" I mentioned the rudeness........I also asked not to receive any more phone calls.......
........will be asking for copy of T's and C's and reading VERY carefully before I decide to renew.........shame really as the engineers who've come out are pretty yummy

Morning all, have done 20 minutes on Active this morning and had breakfast but still feel a bit giddy. I must be so unfit.
Got work later, hopefully doing a load more training so I can sit down.
Wol, you're going to Webiza! Are you coming to Bristol too?
Hi G:hello:

I was reading about steps the other day - it's believed that 10,000 is the thing to aim for but they do recommend that you take a couple of days readings at your normal daily routine to find out how many average steps you take...then aim to up that by 1000 a day for a week or so then up it again....that way you're not getting hacked off at not reaching 10,000 if it's really far to many for your daily life.
Does that make sense?
I love my wii active, not so keen on the running bit but the rest is very good...I am concerned the resistance band's going to snap and fly across the room though

Morning - trying to find out how I can get my iPod repaired as it wont play through my docking station. It's obviously connecting, because it makes the little bleep, and it charges up, but just no sound will come through the speakers (I've tried it on two completely different docking stations so it must be the iPod).
It's really hard to find out who to contact though!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
