Oh Scorgy - what a disappointment not to be going...

I woke up feeling quite happy, surprising what a couple of calls does for your mood. I am feeling like a grumpy old woman, furious with the nation for its lack of customer service skills and rue the day technology took over the world....

Yes - well done Squizz. :T

Can't you go to Take That Scorg?

Bookie, can't go. I ordered my tickets then a couple of months ago I looked on my ticketmaster thingy and it said the order had been cancelled, so I changed my days holiday to next month to spend some time with my parents when they come down, then I found out this morning when I rang asking where my refund was that apparently it hadn't been cancelled they had had to do that to allocate me seats or something. Anyway, the tickets are being sent out today special delivery, so I'm now off to flog them on ebay. *Scorgy thinks she needs to learn to read small print in future before she makes any decisions*

Sally it's this Friday at Hampden, 2 tickets. I am going to put them on the intranet at work as well, as maybe someone at the OU Scotland office may want to go, well fingers crossed anyway :D

Sally, I am actually begining to think that all the money I spend on insurance (unless its a legal requirement) would be best to be put into a bank account until an emergency comes up.....

errrmmmm.Sammy..total I have spent on house insurance policies to date from first house in 1989 approx £10,000 (ie average £500 per year)

Total Insurance claim for flood (but would apply for any fire/water damage including burst hot water tank, involving vacation of property to rented accomodation and strip out/refurbishment.).......>£100k....

That's buildings (£60k) and contents..(£30k)...and a year in rented accomodation plus removals both ways (£25k)

I am now a great advocate of house insurance..........but have to say I don;t do the add-ons apart from legal cover ........and it IS annoying when they say something is covered over the phone to get you to part with your money and then resort to the small print to wriggle out of it.

D'you know, it's funny when you said something about insurances, Wol did briefly cross my mind, and all the palaver she's had with them... but if Wol is an advocate for insurance after all her hassle, it must be good!!!

Squizz, i know i said it by text, but bloooody well done on a brilliant run! Are you doing Leeds then??? huh? huh? are you?? huh?
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
