Ah well, I'm sure they'll appreciate us one day!!!

Has everyone gone to bed? Am I left alone.. the sad ol' soak "decluttering" a bottle of wine? (well it WAS taking up room in the fridge :rotfl:)

Anyone have any idea why it's taken over an HOUR to load this forum thread? is it my comp?

think I may have a real go at the weekend list, particularly the bit about sitting on your derriere, think I may be naturally talented at that......

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:At last, I've found something I'm talented at too!

you are not alone, I'm still here. I've finished tidying up the top of my lil chest of drawers (I put all the contents into a bag) so I've obeyed the last instruction on the LR list
Wednesday Whizz! ~ Living room, hall and stairs!
    Level One
Declutter the flat surfaces.. even if you scoop it all into a box to deal with later!
    Level Two
    Level Three

Star please Toots, but in the morning, don't do it now, go to bed if you aren't already

Oh Pigpen, I wish I could wave a wand and make your ex be more supportive of his family. It’s sad that he doesn’t want to spend time with his children, one day he will look back and realise what he’s missed.

Frodders, Soappie, and Hex, normally I have some WW puddings in, but had run out. I told DH about my ice cream craving and he bought some WW puddings home with me even tho I secretly hoped he would bring ice cream! And I was very good and only ate the fish (no batter) and not many chips.

Hugs Greenbee, when will it all be over? Grr to your nasty boss

    Huston, mmmm Opal Fruits!

Whats the button with the picture of a sheet of paper and a pen for?

I'm off to bedfordshire, night night zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

ETA: Do you know what I really wish they would do, is when you go to edit your post I wish they would put the font size button on there so you don't keep having to go advanced

And a question for other mothers of fifteen year olds, or just anybody, I need all the help I can get. Do you think fifteen is the worst age, because I'm beginning to think it is....ds2 who is at that magic age has just told me that all his friends think I am a mean parent because I have ONLY paid for a school trip to Poland as his birthday present....this trip to Poland is costing £225.....and because we are so mean and did not buy him a brand new bicycle as well ( offered him either the trip or the bike, he chose the trip) he cannot get a job, has no social life and hates his whole life...and guess what it is all my fault..............................

I personally found 14 awful with mine, he is fine at the moment at 15. What was your's like at 14?

Do you care what his friends think? Thought not.
He can get a job. My DS trained as a football ref for which he gets paid, he could get a paper round.
No social life is good, he can't afford one without a job and is less likely to get in trouble and will have more time to study.
Don't worry about it being your fault, he's in practise for being a man, he'll make a great husband one day.

Ironing all done, just setting WM and then off to bed. See you tomorrow flyers.

Nope - 15 is just the start. You have at least another three years or so until something resembling normal service is resumed with blokes. You will soon - v. soon - reach the 'grunt' stage. There will be no mean mum conversations because all you will get is a grunt. If you're lucky. There is light at the end of the tunnel though - after about 3 or 4 years...
