    Hello all

Just checking in from my hols...DH still asleep and I had to get up to move the car (got a ticket yesterday grrrr) so am being super careful! Apparently I kept dh awake all night by snoring...oops.

Done no flying I'm pleased to report except fill the dishwasher, do washing and cook a couple of easy meals and dh has been cooking breakfast when we've had it. There's a cleaner comes in when we leave so I'll just need to tidy round a bit. Home friday night I think.

Hope you're all well, look forward to catching up next week.

thats great summermoon - whatever it is be sure to praise him OTT and maybe he will do something else. When you want him to help try to not just say 'can you help me?' try saying something like 'would you do the dishes while I hoover?' or 'Do you want to hoover or dust?' - always give him an option and he has to pick one (with a bit of luck!)
Since you have the kiddlies at home - get them roped into doing something with you - see who is the quickest to pick up 5 toys or bring you washing- give them each a clean duster and get them to dust the stairs or skirtings - easy but useful jobs - and they get a prize of a sweet or juice or tv or something? then you can have sit-down time too.
poorbutrich I am taking it from your post that you finished yesterday;s list and awarding you your FIRST STAR - well done - the lists make a difference and even if you dont get them all finished this week just look at what you have achieved already:T:T I am the same I hate my kitchen getting messed up - but the good thing now is that it doesnt take the whole day to put it right!
feefee dont get stressed honey - you are doing really well - and dont worry about getting your house tidy before you start cleaning - I agree it is easier with less clutter around but you can do that as you go along - try to do the list and you will find that there is de-cluttering jobs on it and as you begin to get quicker/more organised/ have better routines you will have time to do more.
Hi Rach honey - hope you are having a relaxing time and not washed away -looking forward to catching up when you get back. xx

have just given toxic a mammoth shopping list so we will see how that goes:rolleyes:

    toots xx

Toots..... Definately in a parralell universe here, he has tidied living room, cleared some of the kids toys back to their room and has just hoovered the stairs, and swept living room floor.
Kids are upstairs tidying their room..... This is great!!!!

Oh, I so don't feel good today. Have had terrible nightmares, and feel completely exhausted and terribly depressed today. Really don't want to do anything today and I have a list as long as my arm.

I think flying will have to go on hold while I try to get on with other things that I really must do this morning. I've written out a schedule so if I stick to it I should get there eventually. There will be a bit of flying involved as I need to tidy the car up. I will see how I get on. Am going out to meet a friend at lunchtime so hopefully that will help me to feel better.

Soappie, yes Lazarus the hoover did come back to life – maybe it wanted a rest! JW’s believe everything the Bible says so we do believe that Jesus resurrected Lazarus. Hope the hearing goes well today

Greenbee, you have probably left already, but hope it goes well in London

Wow Princess Jane, your OH has done really well with his weight loss. Has he got much to lose? I’m trying to lose a stone in a month, am on target so far!

Sarah, glad the appointment went well. Poor little girl, she does have a lot to deal with doesn’t she. A support group sounds like a great idea for both of you

Rach, glad you are having a good holiday

Toots, hope you have a more restful day today and that Toxic gets the shopping right!

ETA: Summer, sounds like you are having a great time with your OH and kids helping you!

Morning everyone. Had a nice bit lie in this morning really needed the sleep. Its GGDs 4th birthday today so need to go get her present. Going to see mum later then to the hospital. Ive nearly finished the kitchen and stripped the bed. One load of darks nearly finished. GS1 and his girlfriend have moved into their flat and Ive said I would buy them a deep fat fryer so will get that too.

Soppie Sending positive vibes and thinking of you.
Summermoon Hope it continues like that. I bet you are really pleased.
Toots Good morning. Take care and dont overdo things. Ive only 10 weeks left at work:D and 2 of those are holidays.
rosepink Hugs. Ate a bit more than usual at work yesterday but I was stressed. We have a long corridor down the middle of the bungalow so did a bit fast walking up and down when I could. Enjoy your lunch.
