I take you don't need it for work? If not it's a luxury you cannot afford at the moment.
Have you asked your parents how much they NEED from you so they're not struggling? Are you paying 1/3 of all bills, or less?
To be fair, if the OR did not allow the money needed, they should have forced the ending of the agreemant.
It is a bit grey, but my interpritation/view is the OR has two choices, allow the car and the cost, or adopt the agreemant, and dispose of it, putting the loss into the pot.
Would be intrested to hear how JCS1 would have viewed it.
Personaly i see it as an examinour that wanted there cake without working for it:rolleyes:Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -

There tends to be a bit of give and take - for example groceries are higher than expected, but clothing is low and no holiday fund - so rather than change figures to get the same end result, your examiner probably left as was. (I know it was the kind of thing I did). This does not mean that every figure was accepted and agreed, just that the overall total was.0 -

Without knowing the full background of travel to and from work, if public transport available, etc, it's hard to say for definite (also, the guidelines might have changed via a technical notice since I left the IS). Assuming car on HP and no money if sold, and that the figures on the SOA were reasonable, I would have tended to allow it.0
