Yes - thankyou !!!!!! - heard about this on radio and thought great for those who could get there !!!!!!

Nothing like this has ever been tempted/on display before so a great 'first time' experience for anyone interested.

    Another good post - thanks!
  • Let's celebrate criminality???
  • It isn't criminality. If it was criminal then it would not have been thought about and planned. It is modern art.

Also a lot of Banksys work has by popular demand been kept on buildings and in the street.

If the people on mass love his work then so be it!!

OK if you don't mind waiting in an extremely long & wide queue.
Went passed it today & it would have taken hours to get in!!
Perhaps it would be better to go on a very wet day when less people are likely to be there.

Wow - sounds popular - wish I was near enough to go!

Whole exhibition was planned in secret by the way through one key person working there whose managers etc. didn't realise what was going on/what she was doing - risked her job (know some will disaprove) to put on but even if not to everyone's taste or approval is a courageous first; shows huge initiative to do something like this & is something so different and never attempted before that will make the history books etc. (what fun to be involved in something like that !!!!! - wish I had the chance) - it does take individuals to do one off/exciting or just different things for everyone to look back on, whether they view it positively or negatively.

Was a bit of Banksy near us on an old fence but 'disappeared' only (apparantly) to be sold for enormous amount .... criminality??!!

Anyway - hope all who can will go just to experience a one off/first life time event (something to tell the children/grand children) whatever their views. Obviously risk organiser took & instincts were right/worth it if queues so long!!!!!

the exhibition is brilliant. Every piece is thought provoking. He is a very clever man and brings lots of politics and irony into his work.

The entrance hall, art gallery and where the cafe was are all Banksy's work but make sure you look around the WHOLE museum and art galleries because he has pieces everywhere amongst the normal stuff.
If you can get there then do go because it's a great hour/hour and a half day out!

The queues were massive but the queue is to get into the art gallery bit only once you get inside. That queue quickly goes through and you can view the rest of the museum and go back when the queue is shorter. Last entry is 4pm and that final hour is plenty of time to see everything with little or no queues.
