it will cover the top 2 but not if the groom does a runner
for me its about protecting my day if a company goes under- if you are close to the day an insurance company will get you someone else quick totry and prevent the day being cancelled.
i think when i'm closer to the wedding 'll be more bothered about getting married on that exact day and wll not want to postponeHad a thrifty wedding 17-06-10

E&L are fairly cheap, a few people have used them on here and i plan on using them too.
www.e&l.co.uk
oh and they cover the 2 years up to the wedding.0 -
John Lewis also sell wedding insurance.
I must admit that I insist on brides having wedding insurance because although I have my own insurances I don't want to be held responsible if a venue suddenly goes bust or whatever.0 -
I've got my puppydawgs covered with e&l - I'm surprised they do weddings I thought e&l stood for equine and livestock :rotfl:
Not a bad price tho"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Nothing passive, no being carried off on a white steed, give me my own damn horse and lets ride into the sunset side by side." - Laurell K. Hamilton.0 -
Hi, our wedding is fast approaching (Aug 16th) and I must admit insurance is the one thing that has slipped our minds. I am now concerened about swine flu and the potential this has to disrupt our wedding. Is it likely that wedding insurance will cover us against this if the worst should and our wedding has to be cancelled for any reason?
I am tempted to go with e&l due to their low premium and their level of cover is fine for us0 -
i hadnt even thought about insurance......
how much should I be looking at paying......roughly lol
is it worth it? for instance do they actually help if things go wrong, or is it like other insurance where they try and get out of it?Married on 5th March 2010still lurking on the wedding board tho :rotfl:0 -

:hello:
e&l do cover illness so hopefully there are no new clauses0 -
I used e&l mainly because OH is in the army and they cover military personnel and it is very uncertain whether he will be sent off on a tour of duty! Fingers crossed not!0
