New version of AOL (beta?) lost it?

I have AOL VR (vista ready).
I ran that & some new (beta perhaps) version side by side, I used the new version the rest of the family still logged in by AOL VR.
I liked the way you could open different pages & there were tabs at the top to switch between.
I had to completly uninstall AOL recently & I can't find it on the AOL info pages to download.
Can anyone advise where I can find this again?

No, I've been there, I've been all over AOL looking for it. I had it till about a month ago when AOL had big problems.0 -

Isn't that just an Internet Explorer front-end? There are far better browsers available out there...0 -
It had a whole different sign on screen, used to drop down from the top, IYKWIM.0

You might want to note that AOL software is Very Very very bad. It's poorly designed, and buggy. You can live 100% without AOL software on an AOL connection, you can even view your bill and email without using their software...0

Why would you want it? It's the biggest lock-in i've ever come across. You can't extract your bookmarks, let alone emails, supposedly stored to your own hard drive from their software.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

and to be fair, the VR and the BETA are the same.AOL 9.0 was once identified by Stopbadware as being under investigation [40] for installing additional software without disclosure, and modifying browser preferences, toolbars, and icons.0 -

This is incorrect.
The latest version of AOL software is AOL Desktop (which came after AOL 9.0 VR).
Though I agree - all AOL software is crap. There's no chance I'd ever put it on my PC.0
