    Touche

Seriously though, I find that the more you play with it, the [STRIKE]harder[/STRIKE] more difficult it gets.

How much is another years licence?

atlantis187 - Barclays have extended the offer for a further 12 months, so when your 12 months expires, you can apply for another activation code for a further 12 months.

Also -launch Kaspersky and click on the License icon on the left hand side. Select the merge/delete icon in the middle

select activate online - and enter the activation code (which can be cut and pasted) into the activation code field - this will start the 12 months period
  • Thank you for your replies regarding the activation. Who would have believed that the icon Merge/delete is the one to use to extend the product licence. I found this out yesterday - perhaps this should be called something more obvious!! However, I feel I've stitched myself up as I seem to have lost some 25 days of my product licence as when I extnded it to 1 year, I lost the days I had left from the trial period. Still, can't complain considering I paid nothing for the licence. One other question which perhaps someone can shed some light on it - what is the key file that kaspersky are telling to donwload and store on my computer. It sounds similar to the activation key. This kaspersky sounds very complicated - I'm beginning to see what someone else has said about the more you get to know it the more complex it seems!!!!

Barclays Kapersky just allowed 5 Trojan's onto my PC!

I always, always find, it's the free software that gets you out of trouble!

edit: I know Kapersky was free, but you know what I mean.

To be fair to them, I think I've got an issue with it that needs resolving. At present it will not complete a scan without crashing and it def shouldnt be doing that.

    I will let them know

By the sound of things, you probably had the trojans before you had Kaspersky!
