Kaspersky for Barclays Customers

Hi, I am trying to download Kaspersky from Barclays online banking service. When I click on Kaspersky and complete registration details and click next - it then says:-

  • Something's not right. Please check what you have entered.
Any idea why this is happening, I have checked the details I have entered couple of times and all seems to be correct. Thanks

Is it a 30 day Trial you are getting From Barclays or a 1 Year License?

starM - I had the same issue, when renewing my copy. I called the helpdesk (who were really helpful). I was using a differant email address from the one I had used when I originally applied. There is a link on the renewal page (I think in red) which takes you to a differant page if you have changed your email address since the first registration.

If it is your first registration I would email Kaspersky for help.

Crampo - it is a 12 month licence, the fully functional trial version is extended for 12 months once the code in entered

All i was woundering is that , if barclays were just advertising kaspersky and offering customers the download for the free 30 day trial.

No - full licence for 3 PCs per Online Banking account holder, 12 month licence, renewable free...so far!

I use it instead of BT's McAffee offering.

Renewable after 12 months as I said.

Not sure what you mean by 'revert to a basic anti virus' - if you don't renew subscriptions to any package, they stop getting updates so your level of protection drops very quickly. An expired anti-virus package is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

Do you have to have a current account to get this, or can you get it with a regular saver?

OP, make sure you're entering your FULL membership number.

The number you use to log in to the site is 10 digits, the full membership number is 12 digits.

The account is irrelevant, you simply have to be registered to use Barclays online banking service, which presumably can be used for any Barclays account.
