A pretty good machine but with onvoard graphics its not going to run games very at hi resolution or frame rate.

But does it have AGP/PCIe for a graphics card upgrade?

You'd need to at least double the RAM too, if you wanted to play newer games at decent settings.

Has a PCI-e graphics slot so you can put in the latest graphics cards. Onboard graphics will be fine for day to day use and playing Mr Potatohead Saves Veggie Valley, but you'll need to put a separate card in for serious gaming :)
I bought a 5150 with the 128MB x300SE card from Dell, and to be honest that wasn't up to much so I took it out and put my own 6600GT in instead, which is why this is a good machine because you aren't paying for an underpowered card you'd have to replace.
Memory is a little bit shy of what you'd need, but a 512MB memory card would only cost £30ish if you really felt the need for more.

im pretty sure the 5000 series have advance graphics slots, its the 3000 series which only has PCI

just checked and it has a PCI-Express slot so its looking good.

    2 PCI slots
    1 PCIe x 1 slot
    1 PCIe x 16 (graphics) slot

This is OK deal... but I got the exact same machine a couple of months back on a Dell offer with decent graphics card, 160GB HD, DVD burner and 1GB of RAM for £505 delivered....

Quite possible (I got one with a 250MB disk and a 17" TFT for £405) but Dell deals come and go all the time and you never know what's coming next. As a basic home PC with some future proofing this is a pretty good deal, especially for those who don't want to play lots of games. And the screen is worth about £175 in its own right - I have one and it's great.

With Dual core CPU and 19" TFT? Excellent bargain if you did.
