Streamed Sky Sports - LIVE

Sky's page here: www. skysports .com/video/tv/ (spaces need removing) implies that to get lve streaming of their sports you need to have the Sports Pack plus Broadband max OR Sports Pack plus Multiroom.
Alternatively you can have it for an extra £9.75 per month if you only have the Sports pack.
However, some colleagues of mine claim that others have it without any of these.
Does anyone know for certain? Is there a basic requirement for the sports pack or not? If I could get this without having to oifficially sub to it then that'd be cool.

If you've got the full sports pack u dont neccessarily need to have multiroom or broadband max to be able to watch live on ur pc. Another way round this is too create an account for skybet and place a couple of bets a months for the minimum amount which I think is around 5 pence and this will give u access to live sky sports.0

Now there's a thought. I shall have to investigate even though I'm not a gambling man.
Do you know if with the streaming it is only ever live, or do they do like iplayer and make it available for a period afterwards?0 -

Its supposed to be live but in actual fact its about a minute behind on the action as apposed to watching it on ur telly. picture quality is excellent and if u miss it u can normally download the highlights of the major events for 7 days to watch before it disapears.0 -

Through seeing this thread I logged onto the Sky player last night and was really impressed at the quality of the cricket coverage. Atlantis187 is right in saying that it is a bit behind as I had it on the telly as well (I was only checking the sky player out!!) I went into the movies section and it wasn't letting me see any films for free as I don't have that package so you get what you're subscribed to. I don't have multiroom but have broadband max although I didn't see anything on there to say you need either of them. - Just because I love this emoticon!0
