Freephone Sky

Hi. having justed hunted high and low for a 0800 number to call sky on I came across this bulletin:

BT has today cut the cost of calling 0845 and 0870 to zero for many of its customers, following a consumer campaign against companies profiting from premium rate lines.
Subscribers to BT's Anytime package will get free 0845 and 0870 calls at all times, while Evening and Weekend customers' calls will be free after 6pm Monday-Friday, and all weekend.

So - if its true - i may as well just call the main premium rate number as I am a BT Anytime subscriber.

Lots of companies are changing thier income generated numbers from 0870 and 0845 to 0844 etc. including Sky. So if you ring 0844 you will be charged.

If you are a Skytalk customer then calls to them on the 0844 number are free evening and weekends.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
