Sports Tracker function for Nokia 5800
OH has started walking in an effort to get fit. At first he used this app on his phone without inputting his weight and height and after his first walk got a reading of around 200ish calories used. We assumed that was based on an average person.
He's now put his height and weight in and done a similar walk this morning and the calories used reading is around 600. Surely that can't be accurate? He's a bit on the plump side but he's not hugely overweight.
Also the weight should be input in pounds...shouldn't it?
Already looked at the pdf user guide and cant find anything relevent (other than 'input your weight').

Try weight in KG instead an see if it gives a better reading. Walking burns about 6 colories a minute.Never used sport tracker although i had it on my N95.
I can highly recomend sportypal though, which i believe is also available for nokia phones.0 -
Thanks matty but we cant see a setting to change the weight.
Will go look at sportypal, thanks. Herman - MP for all!
