Item doesn't fit buyer

I sold a top and it doesn't fit the buyer.
She sent a really rude message.
I have replied asking her to send the top back and I will refund the price of the top but not the posage as there is nothing actually wrong with the top.
Do I have to pay postage back or not?
Not sure of the rules.

I don't think you have to refund her at all! If the item is the size you said it was, it's not your fault if she doesn't know what size to buy!
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

It depnds on whether you are a private or business seller.

As a private seller, you don't need to refund at all. As she has already been rude, I would be inclined not to.

If you are a business seller, the DSR rules may apply.

    Shes trying it on

Buyer beware she should of asked more questions about measurements prior to purchase

Tell her to re sell it and block her bidding on your auctions and block her email

Shes playing on your good nature

All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.

You don't have to refund postage. I would also offer a refund excluding postage as buyers can raise a "significantly not as described" dispute via paypal and then they get a full refund. I've had this happen to me and these sort of disputes tend to always go in favour of the buyer.

Most people - unless its a designer top with a huge value - would put it down to bad luck. Ive bought a few items of clothes on there which have not fitted properly when they arrive, I just bung them in the local charity shop

Do not refund if she is too stupid to not order her size then it's her own fault
