What do you think

I have demands from my bank to pay off credit card and bank balance.
I have no income of my own but have money coming in from my partner, I have had a thought, I cannot pay back their money because I have no income they have already told me it is my debt and nothing to do with my partner.
1/ I can borrow the money and make an offer of payment or let them take me to court and receive pennies per week as I have no income, or would they send in bayliffs to get as much as they can.
for example I owe £2000 and offer £1500 do you think its worth trying????
