CPW cashback time restriction removed?
i contacted the carphone warehouse customer care department today in order to check whether they had received the cashback claim i sent off recently.
during the usual CPW activity of passing me from department to department, i had two different people telling me that the company has now abandoned the time restriction on cashback claims (it used to be 60 days from the date of the bill).
has anyone else heard this? one (surprisingly friendly and helpful) operator even said that people were making claims from 2004 and still being paid. the other operator said that you could now feasibly send off for all your cashback in one go right at the end of the contract, and still be paid.
as with anything from CPW, i take this with a pinch of salt. one of the operators said the 60-day limit had not been removed from online orders, and put me through to the department dealing with online orders. they, by contrast, said that my (online) order is no longer subject to the 60-day limit. so it all sounds a little confused.
also, it definitely does NOT apply to e2save or OSPS.
personally, i'm not even going to try to do anything other than what was set out in the original T&C for the offer i took out. but this is interesting. has anyone else with outstanding cashback from an online deal been in touch with CPW regarding this?

I've done 2 c/b deals with CPW and they've both gone fine. Got Q&As answered easily, get an SMS saying the c/b claim has been received/paid. One payment got "lost" but they fixed it.What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0
