My brother in law has just returned home from living in Spain with a Siemens Mobile. When switched on it says "unlock sim". I have set up an Orange sim card for him but the phone is not receiving the relevant updates. Can anyone help please? Many thanks.

in that case the handset may be "locked" to that network & will require unlocking before you try & use another sim (easily done most market stalls will do for £10 or so)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

Might be....post up the make & model number here & someone will give you an answer (not familiar with samsung handsets so not sure if a code is all you'd need )

If it helps at all, Telefonica is the same company that provides o2.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0
