    hi,

not in same gist as other replies but the other thing i would consider is petrol usage, we had a 53 plate focus 1.6, i loved it, great to drive, lots of space etc.

But we couldnt cope with how much it drank petrol, and we did'nt have baby things to ferry around in it, but we were lucky if we got 350 - 400 miles out of the tank, and that was at 5th gear at 50 - 60 mphs for 90% of its usage, we traded it in for a diesel, renault, same space, still great to drive, but around 700 miles per tank...

but i do still sigh when i see the focus occasionally in our town, and silently wish that it had been sold to someone in another part of the country!!:rotfl:
