Kinnerton Chocolate Factory Shop

I had been meaning to visit the factory shop in Fakenham for some time now so made the decision to go this morning. Loads of bargains to be had. I bought :

2 x Groovy Chick Easter Eggs in boxes with 2 bars of choc in each (same as in shops)

Bag with 43 hollow chocolate eggs (larger than creme eggs in size)

Scoop of postman pat wrapped chocolate and bunny rabbit chocolate (similar in size to the santas and snowmen you get at xmas). Scoop contained over 50 pieces.

16 large white chocolate chick lollies (similar to Thorntons).

Large bag of cadbury flake with crunchy coating mis-shapes (most were just 2 stuck together - what a hassle having to eat 2!!!!!!).

2 Groovy Chick breakfast bowls (like the ones you can get with eggs in a pack).

I believe it was a bargain as it cost me £6.

I think that the shop has different things every day as it's whatever they have at the time. But definitely worth a look if you live in the area.

    Kinnerton? Noooooooooooooooooo

OMG, my kids go hyper loopy on Kinnerton chocolate and buy nothing but Cadbury's now. I remember buying a Kinnerton advent calendar one year and the kids went hyper within half an hour, there was NO controlling them, flying around the house like all 5 power rangers rolled into one. They had calmed down by the afternoon and I couldn't work out why they both went daft at the same time. Next day same thing, then next day ... then I clicked. The only thing that they had had for those 3 days was a tidgy little piece of hyper 'turn into a monster' chocolate.

I threw them in the bin and bought 2 cadburys ones instead and they were fine. I don't know what the difference is between the two types of chocolate but there is something.

A few years later I tried them again, just to see (I must have been mad). I called at my mums house and they were both going mad, running around, doing tipple-overs on the sofa, FULL on energy ... and a lot older by this time too.

Kinnerton? No thanks ... Never ever ever again

Anyone else had any problems like this?????

Kids had a 'hollow' egg last night only to discover it is filled with the most delicious milk chocolate fondant on one side and white choc on the other - a real bargain at 43 for £1 - the party bags for kids party on Sunday are going to be a joy to give out!!!!

I hate this chocolate, it tastes awful! Each to there own I guess, but i'm always v disppointed if I get a kinnerton advent calendar/ easter egg.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

If you enter Fakenham by the sign that says town centre you can't miss it. You'll come to a little roundabout with a kids playzone type place at it. You can't turn left so can only go straight on and you'll see the big red sign saying 'Kinnerton'. It's open every weekday from 8.30 (I think) but at the minute it's also open Saturday's in the run up to easter (not sure what time though).

They also had loads of cadbury's chocolate yesterday - the little eggs I got were cadburys as were the flakes.

    Hope this helps.

I think I'm correct in saying that Kinnerton chocolate is safe for nut allergy sufferers. So that may be of some interest to someone.

Thanks 1012Donna for the directions we found the place and with the help from our Grandaughter my purse is £12.50 lighter and I'm sure my hips will gain a few pounds. It was worth the visit and will go again nearer Christmas. 5 hollow easter eggs for a £1.

    So thanks again
