Booking reward flights with Skywards points

Hi,
I didn't get any response to this yet on Flyertalk so I thought I'd try here

I'm thinking of going to Japan again and visiting Korea at the same time since I've got enough Skywards points for a flight between Japan and Korea on JAL.
I spotted the following Skywards T&Cs:
8. All reward tickets are subject to taxes applicable at the time of issue.
21. Any taxes, duties and other liabilities, including airport or government taxes, are the responsibility of the member and must be paid prior to the issue of the reward.

So I guess I'll be paying some £ on top of redeeming 20,000 miles? Where can I find out how much that will be before booking?

9. Award Travel is not permitted during black out dates, At other times, the number of seats available for Award travel may be limited

Should I make sure of my reward booking before sorting my flights out to Korea? If I fly from UK to Korea I assume I'll be able to then fly into Haneda rather than Narita? Plus it'll mean fewer flying hours in total doing it in that order
Thanks

Not sure about using Skywards points but when we have booked flights using our Qantas FF points there is additional taxes/charges to pay.

You can find out what these are (on Qantas) by logging and searching for the reward flight you want to take. (this will also show you the availability for your Japan-Korea flight). then select a flight and proceed. It will tell you the taxes and charges and you can decide then whether to proceed with the booking or not.

Hope it is similar for Skywards - otherwise I would just ring them up.

    Thanks.
The UK JAL site assumes (not unreasonably) that you want to book a flight originating in the UK and I didn't get far on the Japan site either but I managed to find the taxes on the fare on kayak.com - appears to be only ~£30.
A lot of the flights appear to be codeshare - so not eligible for reward bookings but my plan should be do-able!
