Whilst chatting to someone on a chat site this morning i got asked for my mobile number, i was foolish enough to give it, within 10-15 minutes i received over 200 txts from Vyke.com with a promotional code..when i asked the person i was chatting to to stop the txts, she said the only way she could do that was by having the code..unfortunately the txts are coming in so quickly my aging phone only shows "new incoming message" so couldn't give her the code..i am still getting txts over an hour later, my SIM card is full, i have tried switching the phone off...nothing works..anyone one else had this happen to them? if so how do you solve it?

Turn your phone off and take the SIM out.
Phone your provider from a landline and ask them to block the sender and remove the SMS messages. If your provider can't help then you'll need to get a new phone number and/or SIM. Just ask them to transfer the balance.
And you should not give out private info because if you do it's not private any more.0 -
their charges are not what they seem.
They say between what they call the VYKE ZONE its 4 cents a minute, don't believe it!
45 secs cost me 20p - even at the standard rate of 2p a minute I can't add that one up, and all my calls are like that.
I loaded £10 and they have a policy of no refund! They won't get anymore from me.
Wrote to them about it and 10 days later still no reply.

I've been using Vyke for around a couple of years as have other family members, no problem at all.
Call to landlines in many countries including the UK are 4 US Cents per hour (2.1p) that is per hour not per minute. This is from using their VoIP service set up on an ATA.
I have found Vyke to be excellent and have recommended them to many.
I have also used the service whilst abroad for a call back service, pennies per minute to call back home to the UK.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
