Thinking about Asda Mobile, but will price go up?

I have an old Virgin OVP deal with Orange, which has been unbeatable value, but the Asda mobile tariff looks cheaper, and also has 3G internet access. I was wondering whether there was any chance that Asda could increase their tariff in the future? When you take out a PAYG contract are you vulnerable to whatever price increases the carrier chooses to make in the future, or does your contract lock them into the rates at which you purchased it?

There is no contract with ASDA mobile. You can leave at anytime subject to this and the other T&Cs....

4.1 If you no longer wish to receive the Services and want to join another network while keeping your ASDA mobile number, you must inform us so that we can request from our partner, Vodafone, your Port Authorisation Code (PAC). We are entitled to charge your new network provider with the reasonable cost of porting your number to the new network provider. Please note that all top-ups are nonrefundable, and that any unused credits will not be repaid to you if you decide to stop using the Services

We are with ASDA and no complaints.

If the rates do go up you can always leave.
