Living is getting too expensive.

Ouch! That's a lot of cash to part with.
All my bills have went up, and OH's pay has went down about £300 PM because of no OT at work, so we are having to cut back, though the only "luxary" we seem to have is the £20 PM Sky tv!
Wish they'd stop phoning trying to get me to take the sports channels though, have to pull the phone out of OH's hand and hang up before he agrees!0 -
We're getting away from bills.
You need to pay for wi-fi. And electricity to recharge whatever you're going to be accessing the net on.
So no.....no wi-fi in my cave. Feel free to try the one next door.
:rotfl:
Edit: Just had a thought that you might have some sort of wind up power supply or something....so I've changed my mind...you can come if it's free. And you piggy back onto some free hotspot or other.
Look, I appreciate your help. Cutting costs = avioding bills.
My question was are there wifi access points, I didn't mention paying for bills. Wifi is stealable (if we are going to live like peasants, a bit of common theivery isn't going to bother me).
With regards to electricity, I have a petrol generator planned and some solar panneling for outside the cave, onto around the outside to collect most energy.
So...wifi access point? If so I'm there!0 -
Yeah a cave sounds good. Somewhere with no telly so no kids would want to come, no phone so no-one can ring to ask me to do something. And no cars at all (already forked out over £400 since jan on our car and more things are now going wrong
)
I'd love to just sit on the top of the hillside and listen to the bird chirping and watch the clouds roll by.
dont forget invite hugh whittingstall along - he can do the cooking lol0 -

Can I come too?? As long as we don't have to low-carb though. I'll bring fruit pastilles.0

I'd be interested in the next door cave (I do like my own space, even if it is small & dank). I might have to visit to access the net... but I'd be a nice neighbour, I grow lots of fruit & veg & am very quiet, except when I'm not....0

You know what? I know this is all tongue in cheek....but it's very appealing to me and you all sound like quite a nice bunch so I could handle you as roomies and neighbours I think.Herman - MP for all!0

Well...you just need to unearth (sorry, couldn't resist) some caves. Not usually seen on rightmove, so any other ideas?0

Can i join your cave dwelling? I'd like: no work, no internet, a nice dog, a veg patch and some sheep please?
(can i keep my car though?)0 -
No cats though. The stray we have been keeping an eye on/looking after has just killed a newly fledged dunnock chick
so I'm really not happy. He's no longer welcome in my house  Or cave.
