Living is getting too expensive.

I've just parted with £700 this morning, just paying 3 bills.
AND that's after I got one of them down from £180 to £140 and tried to see if the others could be got cheaper elsewhere.
Not really any point to this thread other than a cost of living moan really.
I think there's a lot to be said for cave dwellers. I'm very much a technology type of person but I think a wee cave on a remote hillside somewhere is pretty attractive right now.
Anyone fancy sharing?

Yeah a cave sounds good. Somewhere with no telly so no kids would want to come, no phone so no-one can ring to ask me to do something. And no cars at all (already forked out over £400 since jan on our car and more things are now going wrong
)
I'd love to just sit on the top of the hillside and listen to the bird chirping and watch the clouds roll by.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Does said cave have wifi access points?
If so I'm in!0 -
Blimey that's quite a bit of money for 3 bills  - which bills are they?0

You can share my kitchen with the plasterer and kitchen fitter next week if you like, I'm going away0 -
Lol....I think you may be missing the point somewhat.
:rotfl:
We're all going to live in a cave to cut costs? What?
I understand completley, thanks for dodging my quesiton about the wifi access points though. Does anyone know if they will come as standard?
If so, I will be attending.0 -

We're getting away from bills. You need to pay for wi-fi. And electricity to recharge whatever you're going to be accessing the net on.
So no.....no wi-fi in my cave. Feel free to try the one next door.

Edit: Just had a thought that you might have some sort of wind up power supply or something....so I've changed my mind...you can come if it's free. And you piggy back onto some free hotspot or other.Herman - MP for all!0 -
