Out of interest Belnahua did More Than get you a courtesy car out within 2 hours as the advert states they will?

Nope! It took 2 hours before they even told me I had to find my own garage as there was none locally! The final call, which went to India, I asked to be put through to my Personal Customer Manager, and she didn't know what I was on about - so I told her to look at the website homepage as it's advertised there! Then she refused and said it wasn't policy (or something like that I couldn't really understand her, Neil Armstrong had a clearer line to the moon!), so I slammed the phone down and decided I am cancelling immediately.

And it wasn't the cheapest quote, but I got £80 cash back + £25 fuel token, and all these wonderful promises and a free courtesy car. This made it virtually the cheapest, but it's the fact I do 15k+ miles a year which puts the quote up.

The other factor in going back to them, was that when the door got dented 4 years ago, they were fantastic, but that was with a UK based call centre. Now it's gone overseas it's truly awful, and they had no idea they had an approved garage 40 miles away, which I had to find out myself by calling around.

I spoke to a Scot on the phone yesterday. To start with I couldn't understand a word he was saying: it barely sounded like English. So I explained to him that he had a thick accent and asked him to speak slower and more clearly.

    That worked.

And if anyone thinks I'm racist. I'm not. But when you pay £400 a year and you're stood at the side of the road at 5am I need someone I can understand and hear.

I don't think your racist at all.
It's perfectly reasonable to expect someone that can understand you and you can understand them.
