Sky Installation dates

Hi, just a quick question..I ordered Sky online yesterday & selected an installation date which would be confirmed (or changed) via email.

I have had an email changing the date to a day that I can't be at home so have just phoned them to rearrange it but they've told me they can only offer 2 other days neither of which I can do either!! They've said I just have to keep ringing back every day to see if other dates have been released! Is this normal???!

It's perfectly normal for Sky and my b***y doctor.
The only way to get help nowadays is to dial 999 and say you've just seen a lad with a knife. You'll have an armed response team within 2 minutes. (Not that I'm suggesting this - they probably won't have a ladder!)

I think it is normal - sky dont actually do the installations as far as I am aware - they book them for 'self-employed' installation experts.
