Recommedation for getting rid of kitty 'odours'

you could try giving them a less offensive smelling food? perhaps one of the quality dry foods? Hills, James Wellbeloved...? they barely smell at all and are very good for them nutritionally, and despite what many people may believe, the cost of feeding a quality dry food can in fact work out less than most canned foods.
(might want to check how old kittens should be before they start on dry food)
or give them a mixture - note the better the food the less smells & `waste' which obviously also smells:T0 -
I use a glade scented candle or something similar. The fragrance isn't too overwhelming either.
As for dry food = less smell. Not on the case of my cat, the odour was pretty much the same. I have a hooded cat tray which does help & I buy a litter spray from pets @ home. It has friendly bacteria in it which neutralise the smell and a pleasant fragrance.0 -
I have two kittens and we have the plug ins for litter tray smells, but as for food I just feed little and often (one pouch between them each time), then it is eaten up quickly and therefore doesn't smell. They also have dry food available.Well I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by
Just want to be...Happy0 -
At work we use the Neutradol pots in every room, Oust is very good, covered litter trays and something called Odogene which comes in a fruity smell is very nice.0

Fortunately, we don't have this problem. We feed raw which is eaten immediately and all bowls washed up for the next round of feeding....Owned by [STRIKE]4[/STRIKE] 4 cats: 2 x Maine coon cross males, 1 x Pixie Bob male and[STRIKE] 2[/STRIKE] 1 x Norwegian Forest male....cute!
