Snags...i can appreciate where you are coming from with the CD - I don't feel too hot and the thought of having a shake makes me feel bleugh...I too am not in the right frame of mind and haven't been for a bit so I think I am going to come off it for a while too. Good luck tonight....you will look great whatever you wear you always do.

Okay insurance dilemma - I need your opinions
Came - assessed damage - yes need two new units and worksurface. Excess £500 in total. He said their contractors could probably do it for just over £500 so not worth claiming for. Can't replace whole kitchen and may be hard to match doors........
But, I said...I can't get someone to come and do it for just over £500 I have been quoted £1,400!!!! He did his sums and said yes you are right...
so I have choices
1. Do nothing - and don't lose my no claims bonus of 30% discount not bothered cos I am going to get souper douper quote from bunny
2. Claim and get contractors to replace cupboards try to match doors etc
3. Or ask for money towards the replacement of the cupboards, after excess probably about £500Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

@ bookie - I'm a cleaner at my university, I do the offices and classrooms. Speaking of jobs, how's that on-line shop coming along?

@ sammy - And the prize of the imaginary £15 I wasn't paid (turns out my pay is actually £75.40 a week) goes to sammy!
They've put me on flaming basic rate tax again. Since it's the boss' fault for not giving me a student declaration form when I started, she said she'll sort out the tax refund herself.
@ Lou - Sorry to hear you're having a rough time, hope it all works out soon.
The boss called me into her office after work and said she won't be offering me the extra summer work because I'm 'not confident enough' which translates as 'not fast enough and don't know what I'm doing yet'. Tbh, I'm relived, I thought she was going to sack me. She's given me evenings instead which means I can afford to stay here for the summer, make good headway into my c/cs, keep the job in Sept and catch up on those essays. Employability is nearly done, I'm taking my laptop to London with me so it should be finished by Mon.
I'm off for lunch now and then I need to get my bag packed for the weekend. Talk soon.
