    Well done Chloe-Mo!! :T :T

My date has been re-arranged to tonight!!

I'm still coughing like a 60-a-day smoker, it's really not pleasant. Any tips for easing a tickly cough much appreciated but I think I've tried pretty much everything!

Also feel about a stone heavier today than I did earlier in the week - combination of totm, chinese and wine I think. So I'll wear my more forgiving dress this evening, and my wedges which I can walk in more easily, and save the new dress and sexy shoes for another time.

I was a bit drunk last night so I've forgotten - did I say I've decided to come off CD for a couple of weeks? I've been ill for a fortnight now and I don't seem to be getting any better. I'm also not losing weight - have maintained for two weeks, and those two weeks have cost me £70.

So I've come off it, and when I'm better, and the Leeds meet is out of the way, I will decide then whether to go back on it to try to lose another stone.

I'm sort of happy as I am at the moment, but I would like to get to my target, if I'm honest.

    morning everyone,

hugs lou, if it helps any I've got the same thing going on, all be it for much lesser reasons. I hate the gloomy feeling. Mine is all hormone related, I was on antidepressants for the past 18 months but came off them a couple of months ago because they have helped me get fat and I'm too vain to carry on like that. So back to being tearful, miserable and in migraine city.

You have a lot going on so just be kind to yourself and go off and have a cry in the loo at work if you need to. Don't let the stress just build up or it'll get worse and worse. I find if I give myself a few minutes to acknowledge what's going on in my life and why I feel the way I do it helps me to cope with it better. So, when I feel like bursting into tears I tell myself, this is hormones and it will pass in a day or two, I might still sit and sob but at the same time I can laugh at myself for being a prat. You need to tell yourself all of the things you would say to us if we were coping with what you are, be your own best friend today :)

Hey Snaggles, how's the excitement levels? :D

I was thinking about you this morning, did you make any more progress with Ryan's school? I seem to have lost track!

 See above post about date being moved to today!!!! Aaaaaggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Re the school - at the moment things are going quite well, they seem to be making an effort, Ryan is happier, and the learning mentor is keeping me up to date with progress. I am very reluctantly 'not rocking the boat', because as much as I would like to get 'revenge', the most important thing is that Ryan is happy, and I don't want to do anything that might jeopardise that.

The complaint letter is written, I just haven't posted it. I will need to decide soon though.

That sounds like my idea of hell, unless of course the marine is in nothing but a thong, then I might sign up :rotfl:

Anybody heard of Global Advantage? Rang me yesterday and today saying part of A&L. Asking for DOB etc but won't tell me why. I won't give them the info until they do so we are gridlocked! Sounded American to me.

If in doubt call A&L... If its genuine they can tell you, if its not they'll be glad to know about it.

Good luck with the date snags, it sounds as if you guys have a bit of a spark already so I dount it'll matter in the slightest what you wear.

I have been utterly awful on my diet this past couple of weeks and the scales are showing it too. I used to lose weight really easily but these days I struggle to get a single pound off. I know that I used to burn loads of calories a day playing kit but these days I don't do much of that at all. I suppose I need to find a way to exercise, but I flippin hate it and never stick with anything. I'd rather lop off a leg to shed a couple of stone than go out running. I might take a horse sized dose of pain killers and go and set up the kit today.

I've stopped the diet pills because I'm not sure if they're helping, but, hubby went and got some of those alli pills a couple of weeks back, he never took them so they are just sitting here. he's off on tour so I might try them out.

Ooooh... hope it all goes well tonight!

Glad to hear that things are going better and he's happy, hopefully it has shocked the school into behaving themselves!
