When I thank people I get this come up

It does show that I have thanked people but as soon as I thank people I get that screen?

I get this as well, its really frustrating
I have just got a new laptop and have started doing comps again and want to thank everyone that posts them, BUT it only lets me do it occasionally and then every so often moneysavingexpert says I am not permitted? (get the vBulletin) Its really annoying me now and wondered if there is anything I can do? I actually think that even though I get the error message it still lets me thank but its every two or three that I do which is very time consuming now and frustrating!!

yes, I'm also using a new laptop too in IE8. I know it's probably not the forum, but I really hope someone can advise me how to sort this out?

Try using an alternative browser e.g. Firefox here. This should prove that the problem is on your PC and it's better than IE anyway.

I managed to thank you than, so that's a start.

Right I had the same problem and someone suggested holding down the ctrl buttom and clicking on thanks and that lets me do it without getting the error page (I thought) and lets me carry on but then I saw that the error page has popped up behind! I have mcafee which have been told this may be the problem as well. Its so annoying and takes me longer to get around the forum

thanks, I have downloaded this and it seems to work hopefully, now have to get used to using firefox as well as vista and new laptop
