We normally end up with 1 bedroom ..... there is 3 of us, 2 adults and a child.
DD sleeps in the bedroom and we sleep in the living room on the bed settee (sp?).
    2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j
  • Thanks for the reply.

Do you know whether you can upgrade if you get a caravan/chalet that hasn't got enough bedrooms, and would it still make the £9.50 offer worthwhile?

I've just checked them out but unfortunately, they are all out of school holiday times. Thanks anyway.

Update - called the number quoted in the Sun (I didn't buy/read it, honest!) and asked about what accomodation was available. I was told it would be a two bedroom caravan, but was given the option to upgrade to a three bedroom for £20, so the total cost for 4 nights in Romney sands (near friends of ours) was £72, including entertainment passes and linen.

Just received booking confirmation by post, which states 'Standard 2 Bedroom' '4 Guests'

There will only be 2 of us, so are we likely to be allocated a better caravan, or will this be the 3*? When I booked there were only silver and above showing for my date, but now all grades are shown as available.

If I decide to upgrade to Luxury Plus (silver), it will cost an extra £64 (£4 p.p.p.n.) - opinions please, as to who would upgrade.

This is for Burnham-On-Sea. Probably better to have booked direct, but will know for next time!

I upgraded for something like £25 the first time we went but now i dont bother. the second time, when i didnt upgrade, the caravan was exactly the same as the first time so i dont know what we paid for ! Have been on a few of these breaks now and think they are great value, never had anything to complain about . Remember to check what they are charging you for on the confirmation letter - if only 2 of you going then you only need 2 entertainment passes (if you want them) etc etc. So no i dont think you should upgrade - you are only there for a few days. Spend the money on something else !

Sometimes Haven will ring you with a cheap upgrade option if they have upgrades available, they rang me last year a week before going when i went to Wild Duck and offered a Gold caravan for £15 instad of the £60 odd it should of been, i would suggest you ring the parks and see if they have any offers on if they have loads of Golds available they usually offer them cheap

    hi

ive been buying the sun this week because of the pizza offer, and picked up on the cheap holidays that they are doing. I had hoped that they might reprint some of the vouchers from last week but at the moment it doesnt seem like it, so i was wondering if there was anybody who has any spare vouchers from last week ie april 3 - 9th vouchers 1-7, that they could possibly send me?

    many thanks
