Usually £10 refundable deposit for linen.
£4 per night elec/gas
£4-5 per person per break for entertainment pass
We usually pay about £38 for these holidays but the reality is they're almost double with all the charges above so add on another £38!

If you click on the info icon on the holiday booking page it tells you any extra costs. But stressed out mum above has given a good idea.Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -
Just to add that we were quoted £131 pounds for us to go to Butlins in Septemeber. The price shot up to £300 using clubcard deals. They dont allow you to ahve any of the special offers with Haven or Butlins when using clubcard vouchersMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -

My partner and I have been on a few of these holidays and had no complaints. Ideal cheap holiday with our baby son , just used it as a base to get out and about and see the area.
To keep the costs down take your own bed linen- dont need much. The entertainment passes are needed if you wish to use the bar areas, amusements, swimming pools etc. and i have never had to pay for the baby's pass. On a couple of sites we weren't asked to show them but thats pot luck i suppose.

No complaints with the Sun holidays either , we are going in May and its going to cost £68 for 4 nights inc. linen and we got free entertainment passes this is at Haven Primrose Valley.
Looks like TNOTW are the left over dates from The Sun holidays.0 -
sennen wrote:We booked a holiday through the Sun similar to the above. Friends of ours who wanted to come along rang the holiday park direct and got a gold caravan instead of bronze all the linen and entertainment passes thrown in and paid £10 less.
It's always worth ringing the holiday park first.
YES! These are run by the Haven/Bourne Leisure/British Holidays group and are the same as the Sun and the Daily Express ones a few weeks back. Whilst they are a good deal compared to a summer holiday week etc they can definitely be matched/beaten by going direct to Haven website or the parks direct. The headline price (e.g.£38 for a 4 night break) is always eclipsed (by 2 or 3 times) by the entertainment passes and other charges they inflict. You also get the lowest of the low accommodation. We got a Daily Express one at Greenacres in North Wales for May for £97.50 once charges added in.
The £38 was already committed but we have since found (still there today if you want it!) if we had gone direct to Haven website then we could have got exactly the same dates, all the passes, linen etc, cancellation cover inclusive (extra on the newspaper offers), earlier check-in and a much larger and better-equipped caravan for £110.00. Yes a little more expensive but so much more!
Just watch out and check their site first! Even better, try the park direct as they may have more to offer like Senne found above0 -

you dont have to pay the £10 for bed linen.....i never have....you just ring the park and tell them you'll bring your own and they take the £10 charge off.
wall park(pontins) in devon has no extra charges.....we always go there for precisely this reason :j0 -
Thank you so much OP.
Never bother with the sun holidays anymore due to the high service charges etc.... and the fact I never get the holiday I want!
Just booked a weekend in Devon, electric on meter and no clubpass charges..... I'm a happy bunny now :j2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -
