Boots Rip me off

Went to boots on the 22/3/06 to get some Sure Cotton Fresh roll on, Lever Faberge have change it, and its not as good as their old product. Their new "SURE" has jumped up to £1.54 - £1.89 depending on where you shop. On my visit to Boots I was delighted to see the old style "SURE" on sale. I went to the checkout and to my amazement I was charged £1.89!!!! I had to buy it cos I have been using this deodarant for 15 years and I love it. I could n't believe I was charged so much!! Went to Asda they had a couple of bottles at £1.04 but had a roll back to 98p. So off I went home and got onto Boots and Lever Faberge by way of email. Lever Faberge said they would pass my email on to there Sure brand team and they said SURE has a suggested selling price of £1.59, still a big differance!
Boots however sent me an email with all the usual clap trap about 3 for 2 offers, and enforming me of the price increase on the 30/03/06, but I bought my products on the 22/03/06.
Anyone got any ideas of what I should do? Thanks for listening to my rant! One very bewildered
and angry  ex Boots shopper

If I ask for a refund I'll have none of my regular deodarant, and that would nt do. My pits need all the help they can get. Have used this one for 15 years its gonna be a trial finding a new one.YOU LOOK ANNOYED....CLICK YOUR PEN

Nothing!
You got your deodorant, if you weren't happy with the price at the time then you shouldn't have bought it.
Sorry I don't mean to sound harsh but you had the choice at the checkout whether to buy it or not.0 -
I have just e-mailed boots from their website as I didn't get £5 voucher when spent over £10 or advantage points because I brought baby milk didn't think it was fair especially when it's not cheap to buy.
Try e-mailing them Sissy, I'll let ppl know what they respond to me.Olympic bronze challenge-started 7/1/06-total so far is £194.300 -
Write a letter explaining your disapointment and you should get a voucher for some advantage card points. The gf did this when she accidently bought a out of date chocolate bar. We sent it in the post and a letter and got 2000 advantage card points0

I went to Boots to buy vitamins the other day - the prices made my hair curl, even thought they have deals (they can afford to).
I went to Sainsburys and they are so much cheaper.
Until recently, I haven't really looked at prices - it's the effect of this site.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

They can't offer any promotions on baby milk, so that would have been excluded from your £10 spend. You don't get points on baby milk either. Here I go again on my own....0
