A couple of points from a senior position within next

In the majority of stores staff do recieve a commission for filling in Directory application forms. This comes from a gift voucher fund. The staff don't recieve cash but the offers in most stores would be

£5 voucher for 10/15 applications.
Time in lieu for managers who hit targets
Overall larger gift card prize for star performer within stor

The sale will have around 28.7% less stock (sorry for the accuracy) this year. Menswear will see the biggest hit and many stores will split their mens floors with petite or other womens ranges to account for the lack of stock.

In terms of store level. Next and the Next Directory operate as different companies under the brand Next PLC. Next Retail Ltd and Next Directory are seperate with separate stock levels and warehouse sections. Next Retail has recentley clamped down on directory returns (adhering to the limit of 10 days that was previously ignored) and stores have been advised exchanges for directory stock are strictly forbidden.

In ahead for Winter, next will be open on Boxing Day and have promised employees (Scotland aside where this is normal) that this will be a one-off occurence owing to trading issues.

Sale starts Saturday 18th July.

Only the couriers and other staff have their preview slots so far, my courier has her slot for 15th.

Unfortunately not otherwise we'd all be doing it theyre given out randomly I think, Ive had 2 in the past

Sorry you don't get to apply, you're selected to receive the invite. Are you a Next account holder, do you sign up to their e-mails, this helps .
