Ziggy Stardust - I used to have Directory orders delivered to my mum's house so unless they have changed the rules in the last couple of years then yes, you can deliver to another address.0

I hope someone here can help me re:next directory. I've never bought from Next online or had a catalogue, but I regularly buy from the shop.
How do I get a directory? Looks like I have to open an account (including a credit card) in order to get one, and will be charged £3.75 each time a directory is sent. Am I understanding this correctly? What if I don't want the credit account?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!0 -

How to open an account
There are several ways to get a next directory account. The first way is to order something online. They will automatically open a Next directory account. The second way is to fill in a form in store when Next have their directory promotions. These promotions occur when a new catalogue is being released so next one will be just before or after the sale in July. The third way is to ring up:
Next Directory Enquiries : 0844 844 8333 (8AM - 11PM, 7 Days A Week)
How the account works
It basically works like a credit card, you buy products from store or online and they get credited onto an account which you have to pay every month. To buy products from any next store with your account, next will send you a card for you to use. This card can be used to order or purchase from store. Another way is to buy products online, these products can be delieverd to your home for £3.95 (though it is cheaper to order them instore which is £2 next day delivery charge) or delivered to your local store which you can pick up.
Returning items you have paid for via account
Really simple, you can either return your items you have bought via the internet to store within 10 days or return them by courier. If you have bought any items in store with your directory card, it's the same 28 day policy. In all respect, the money will be credited back onto your account.
How to pay your account
You cannot pay your next directory account in store. You can call Next Directory Self Serve : 0800 587 7758 and you can type in card details to pay off your account via a self service. You can pay by gift card, debit/credit card. cheque and online banking

I'm away for the sale this summer is it possible to send it to another address or for store pick-up? Last year some of my parcels came late, after I'd gone on holidays, the neighbours were not too pleased with me
I'm not sure about another address, but I definatly know you can order your sale items to store. Just make sure you order them as close to your holiday was possible. As 2 weeks after the due date of your collection the items will be sent back again because of no collection.
However, if you make orders be aware that ordering & collecting orders in store stops a few days before, during and after the sale due to high volumes of customers and not enough time to carry out these tasks!

And do all the summer clothing go on sale in july itself ?
thanks for your help !
Next cut their prices by at least 50% or more.
Next has 4 sales throughout the year: Summer, Winter and 2 mid-season sales. Summer & Winter sales are the biggest (Summer sale being the July 18th) and yes the majority of the stock does indeed go into sale!
Though, due to the credit crunch we do not have as much stock as previous years as they have not being producing as much clothing. Therefore to avoid disappointment with sizes Iwould highly recommend getting there as early as possible!

Do you know when the new directory previews are being sent out? I hoping to get a few more bits for holidays and I think I've pretty much exhausted the current directory0 -
