If any ebayers hav picked one up 2 sell in age 2 - 3 or 3-4 years , would you pm me please :-) id be very grateful

Be glad you shopped online. I went into the store today and I have only just realised they have charged me twice for a pair of £8 trousers for my oldest DS. Got to go back tomorrow and try to get a refund of £8 otherwise they would have cost me the original £16! Really expecting a big argument in there tomorrow.
I checked my receipt and was also charged twice for an item. A pair of black jeans costing £15 in the sale is not costing me £30  I hope I get my money back!Valued Opinions: £90.75 IPSOS: 4255
Comp Wins: Pauls Boutique Hoodie, Supercar Thrill Driving Experience, Benefit Lipstick, Radox Giftset, Paco Rabanne One Million Fragrance, £20!0 -

This happened to me too! Really strange. I didn't even bother going via Quidco due to no payouts on VIP sale. Imagine my surprise when I logged into Quidco the next day to see it had tracked.
Hope it's a glitch and they pay out!0 -

The whole 'no returns' thing is really just an offput gimmick by Next as a company.Does anyone know if I can return some sale stuff tomo or not til tuesday.
Thanks
We would never (and I've certainly emphasised this to my staff) turn down a customer who has queued, regardless of marketing, for an exchange or a refund and any store that has done this should be immediately reported to head office. A lot of the time its because the queues are so large and so many of you buy a several hundred poundsworth of goods and want to return just as many which is unfeasible on a sale day with huge queues
I know during sale the usual service tends to go out of the window with the staff and customers equally harassed. The staff cope well with the usual influx of what we term 'non-Next customers...i.e. - those who only shop at the sale and wouldn't shop at regular prices' but you should be able to exchange or refund.
The only reason those signs are up is to deter returns hitting profit on the first day and generally speed things up. The usual address and postcode taking details are taken down for around 5 days so the transaction is as quick as scanning and crediting the account and all staff are automatically authorised to return (some are restricted during normal trade) Some stores now operate a returns and exchange desk (generally the smallest or quietest department (Home or Kids)
As for those fitting rooms. They are closed on the first day and we know its a pain and its not because we want you to spend the money its that we simply couldn't cope with the demand and we need somewhere to store our stock (sale replen) and fixtures (for launching new things) We try our hardest to open at least half the fitting rooms the next day for you! In all honesty the way the store runs the operation is slightly bizarre.
Personally, if it was my choice I'd close the store on the Friday and set the whole thing up then. Much less hassle from Friday customers entering a half closed off store and easier for staff to work in! (Though not cost efficient!!)
And for those returning and 'buying back' sale goods. Head Office line is that it is to store discretion so don't expect an automatic money back. One policy is to take the goods back and give the full price refund then hold the stock for 24hours and put it back onto the floor. Not great customer service but it will deter the minority who do that (wear the clothes, wash them then return for the £10 off!...rather naughty!)
I do hope you all enjoyed the sale and got your bargains. I certainly think those of you who shopped online will have enjoyed more choice than our instore friends as we generally suffered with stock levels and a large intake of 'mid season sale stock'0 -
