I had a vip slot on Wednesday night, systems really slow but managed to do my order. I sent an email to complaints department about slow systems, just received an email back with an apology and they have credited my account with £20.00 for my inconvience :j0

Went into my store around 8.30 am this morning and was really surprised as it wasn't as busy as in previous years. I was expecting a queue to get in! I know there's a credit crunch on but the Next Sale is usually one of the best around!
I wouldn't worry about the Next stores running out of stock today. They were constantly bringing out items to restock the rails.0 -
Have had 3 items delivered today by courier which I ordered on Thursday night. Just keeping one item. I've always been a big Next fan but I'm finding some of the clothes to be of poor quality over the last 2 years. Sending one top back as the stiching is really bad and looks messy. Looks more like a reject.0

Our store was really quiet at 8.30 - nothing jumped off the hanger into my hand or my daughters but hubby got some shirts and linen pants.... typical!!0

Store I go to was still quite busy, when I got there - about 2ish this afternoon. (Was working this morning). Got 4 things in total. Still had quite a bit of sale stock, but majority of it, I wasn't really impressed with. Home department looked pretty empty though. I'll probably go to the other Next store tomorrow when I've finished work. See if I can find anything else that I can buy

had 17 parcels turn up today, roughly 100 items in all, and im sending about 80 of those back - however im returning them to store due to value, but i dont think they get returned to warehouse during sales, they just get put back on the rail instore
Avoid Next towards the end of the week, because id hate to be the poor sod behind me in the queue :rotfl:

Be glad you shopped online. I went into the store today and I have only just realised they have charged me twice for a pair of £8 trousers for my oldest DS. Got to go back tomorrow and try to get a refund of £8 otherwise they would have cost me the original £16! Really expecting a big argument in there tomorrow. :mad:0

I now take most of my stuff back via a store (particularly high value items) as the credit goes on my account instantly, whereas sending back via the courier, they can take as much as 2 weeks to credit and I then have a big argument over interest with Next as its not right that something gets delivered after my statement date but is on the previous statement, then doesn't get credited to my account until after the next statement date even though I return it within 10 days of delivery, so I end up being charged a months interest....doesn't sound like a big deal but if I return £1000 worth of sale items, then a months interest adds up! I feel guilt about taking away the business from my courier though, so tend to send back lots of little small value individual parcels via her.0
