My best friends mum is dying from lung cancer, caused by smoking shes been sent home to die and only been given weeks to live. Its heartbreaking shes only 52 .

I used to love smoking as well...so did she... when they told her she had cancer she carried on, you would be amazed at the amout of people that are so hooked even after being given the devastating news, they are so addicted they cant stop..

(Sorry for getting so deep its just close to my heart.)

my gran died from lung cancer when my mum was only 2, so was always told never to smoke, dont see the attraction in smoking at all, i cant even be near anyone that smokes, makes me feel sick

morning all hope everyone is ok i got lots to do today let housework slip after recieving 2 bits of bad news yesturday but all is ok today i have over 12 pages to catch up with and the ironing keeps staring at me lol

xxx to you Toni. I know how tough it is. Last year was my first Father's day without my Dad and it was pretty unbearable, especially with every shop window and email shouting about what to buy for your Dad. I shall have a virtual glass of red wine for my Dad today.
