Toothache still there and I dunno what to doooo, I have practically OD'd on painkillers!! :(

I know this is going to sound weird (I thought it did when I heard it but it works!) have you got an electric toothbrush (or anything that vibrates?;)) hold it against the gum/cheek where it hurts and the vibrations will numb it for you:o
I need to find things to do. Frist day of giving up smoking

Good Luck to you, I did it 3 years ago now, just through will power and it's the best thing I ever did, I really hope it goes well for you :)

Thanks, I really hope it goes well for you, I think the trick with me was I really really wanted to stop, there was not one bit of me that wanted to keep smoking other than the addiction so I kept talking that side down for about a week then found I didn't have the cravings anymore and I've been smoke free ever since. I know it's not easy to do though, I tried loads of times over the years but always went back. This time I'm not though and cant see it happening now either, I've not had a craving for over 2 and a half years :)

Thanks everyone, it is bad enough to warrant seeing a dentist I think, but it's a nightmare of a weekend. I will just hang on til tomoro and try all of the above :rotfl: It's so bl00dy painful, hurts when I cough

I just don't have the will to stop smoking :o I hate the fact that I actually love it, I would be lost without fags, and I enjoy every one I have. I have thought about quitting as it costs so much and I hate justifying the price of them, but I know I wouldn't stick to it cos my heart isn't in it. I also believe that even if I stopped smoking I would used the money and spend it on utter !!!!!!
    :) xx JoJo xx :)
