Looks like that I will be unable to post or enter any competitions for a while as we may be moving home again shortly,

we moved last year to a quiet country village 50 miles away because we where being harrassed and intimidated by an anti-social family and after nearly two years of constantly reporting the issues to the local authorities and the police without any real success and being physically assaulted I decided that it was time to move on,

unfortunately my wife is now missing her family and grandchildren and is also showing the early signs of senile dementia or god forbid Alzheimers I have now had to decide to make the decision to move back nearer home again so that here family can help to support her (there are two professional care workers in her immediate family)

after having to leave our housing association home where we lived for 14 years last year we have found that there is a 2-4 year waiting list for social housing in the area that we wish to move back to,so we are at present having to rent privately with £70 per week being taken from our dwindling savings because the goverment will not pay the full amount even though I am a full time carer for my wife ,

its a sad reality of life in britain today that MP's can claim expenses for 2-3 homes but I can't claim the full amount for my one home!

when people talk about "Broken Britain" we know exactly what they mean as through no fault of our own we have become one of the unfortunate statistics of the aforementioned society

hope to back in the very near future

    Best of Luck :)

That's awful news. This country really sucks sometimes. Carers do so much, and they should get more a lot more support than they do.

I hope the move works out for you and that we see you soon.

I've just had a compliment from an old friend I caught up with over the weekend, saying I look really good now... :o

am I really not that hideous as I think I am, are my self-image doubts just wrong? Sure, I know I'm definitely not everyone's cup of tea, I'm certainly not stunning but you know.. I can trust you guys.. am I funny looking or is it all in my head? :o

(sorry, having a bit of a down moment, need a kickin' :rotfl:)
