I've just had a phone call from the Daily Mail re my name game win. He confirmed I had won twice last week and he said - 'I don't know how you managed that!' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ok so skip over this para if you don't want to read a work related rant........

I spent all yesterday catching up on a project I was way behind on (by about 2 weeks). It took ages to get up to date but I got it just about done, finished it this morning, and sent it onto the person who needed it. About half an hour ago I got an email from said person saying 'oh didn't you know we changed the output for this project so you've done it all wrong - did I forget to tell you?'. WHAT???!!! You are joking?!?!?! You mean you've been chasing me for two weeks coz I'm so late and failed to check you'd told me of a really significant change in the project?! I've been through everything, all emails, all notes - no mention of a change in the output. Nothing. I would have written it down/kept an email etc but there is nothing. So I replied and said I didn't remember being told about that and the reply came - 'yea, I forgot to tell someone else too'. Eh? So you knew you'd forgotten to tell someone else but still didn't check I knew about the change? Argh! Rubbish! So annoyed! Now I've got a meeting on Monday so I can be briefed on the new format. Argh!

Anyway, rant over sorry.
