Hey guys thanks again for the birthday wishes.I had a PM on facebook from Ricky wishing me HB and he said i can post this here.I asked him how he was getting on and what he missed etc:

Radio 4, not the weather, good TV (and reception!), Jaffa Cakes, digital radio (they are going to have trials in Sydney in August or something... - 3,000 km south of us!!), my mum, friends, seeing people who are not white or Chinese / Korean / Japanese / Aboriginal, crime, bad food (I'd murder a chip butty), Doctor Who, MSE, and more that I can't think of right now.

But I love it over here, and I'll love it even more once I can work, which should be fairly soon.

We can swim in the sea at this time of the year without being killed by the box jellyfish, which is great as the beaches are just 10 minutes away, or a 15 minute walk to the lagoon. Crocs are more of a problem than the sharks up here, so you don't go too deep or where there are no people.

It gets light and goes dark at the same time year round, and the sun shines most days. I wear flip-flops everywhere and most of the time (when I'm not barefoot), and shorts and T-shirt.

Seafood, fruit and veg are all AMAZING!!

You're welcome to drop this message into the Inn if you like. I miss the comping people so much; you're all a great bunch. Internet is so much slower over here, and there seem to be no unlimited packages, so it'll be a while before I get back into that.

I sent myself an email (including my work today and a colourful diagram I spent all afternoon doing- sure they don't get impressed with an artistic thesis and want ideas but I am trying to distract them ) and then got overexcited when I saw new email:o:o

I have 2 tickets for BTCC touring cars at croft at the weekend (both sat and sun) so anybody Yorkshire way (where it is) or if anyone at all wants them let me know so i can send them out special delivery tomorrow to arrive sat before 9am xxxxx PM me if you would like them xxxx

pms I need to post the cd tommorrow hun, went to post office on way to school this afternoon to find it shuts at 1 on a Thursday (for some reason I had it in my head half day was Wednesday. Didnt have time to go to the high street so will definitely do it tommorrow. I have included the congratulations slip with it so as far as your DD will be concerned it will be a win from Dr Who mag for her !!!

just spotted on faber facebook page they have 50 each of 2 different books to giveaway, its usually first come first serve on there and dont know how long its been up for so be quick inners
