The Missus is slowly emerging from her "dark place".

She is asking loads of questions rather like the lad in "Outnumbered" but doesn't seem to be hearing voices any more.

She is sometimes reluctant to take her medication which exasperates me no end as she comes up with loads of spurious excuses.

She is often silent and lost in her thoughts. Right now she is having a crisis in her faith which I find difficult to deal with having no faith myself.

I love my Missus to bits and have for 35 years. It has been distressing but with time, patience and loads of cuddles I know she will be fine.

She no longer feels threatened by my contributing to the banter in here.

Hi Snidely, great to see you back and to hear that your missus is slowly getting there. Wishing her and you all the strength you need for her continued recovery. xx

Sat here with a packet of Randoms in front of me.

Struggling today coz it's so nice - some ice cream or sweets would really do the trick right now but I'm on this self-inflicted sugar free diet for one month to try and reduce my massive appetite and help me lose weight. I am def eating less but it's only 14th June - not quite half way through yet.

I know I shouldn't eat the sweets here but I really want them.

I nearly went to buy ice cream but it's gone 4pm so Tesco will be shut.

I should be looking forward to my bangers and mash for dinner but instead I'm crying over some jelly sweets. Why does food make me so upset?! I hate that it is controlling me!! Argh!

Spoldz - maybe you could make some 'real fruit' ice lollies using some fruit juice as that way when it's nice you wouldn't feel like you are missing out?
