Mum has bt phone line....

She is looking for a cheap broadband provider for low use. She lives in north Hampshire. Can anyone point us in the best direction please :-). She did have a mobile dongle but as she lives at the bottom of a hill it was a rubbish connection.

First step is to enter phone number and postcode into samknows.com

Then look at the LLUxDSL options to see what is available.

    Have you tried plusnet? http://www.plus.net/

Very cheap, one of the cheapest out there, ideal for low usage.

No, that means that the only LLU operator is BT. You can choose any ISP you like, but it will be a resold BT service, not an LLU one.
Generally the LLU ops give the best prices, the resold BT ones will all be a similar price, but in that case you should choose on service.
The cheapest Plusnet deal is only available on Market 3 exchanges, which yours is not.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
