I've got Nero Express or Nero Vision but not Vision Express!!!! So which one?

When I first put my camcorder on Nero Vision automatically loaded but then I got stuck at the various options.

Nero Vision 5 is fine. You can choose Capture Video to Hard Drive.

I went into Device Manager & it's NOT showing IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controllers:o WHY? I haven't done anything different[well upset emoticon]. Nero wont pick up my Panasonic camcorder - but it did the firtst time I plugged it in - it just wouldn't capture my video.

I give up for now.

I'm going to bed to read a 'chick flicky' kind of book and rest my brain:eek:

Wonders if this is too late but the HELP menu is a valuable source...... sounds silly but has saved my bacon loads.....

If the host controller is not showing up then there's something wrong for sure.

Is the firewire on the motherboard or an add in card? If it's on the board check the BIOS to make sure it's not disabled for some reason, if it's a card you could (after making sure the machine is off and the usual precautions) try reseating it.

I turned on my pc today, plugged everything in and ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... everything worked!!! HOORAY! YAY!

So I've saved 3 projects to my desktop and my next endeavour is to burn them to a Kodak DVD -RW disk:T
