Aaaw, thanks Rich. I'll remember that when I'm dragging myself out of bed at 05.15 tomorrow - it will help motivate me to get out of the door.

Jeez 5:15  even I dont run that early! Some more nice running today though - are you feeing okay with the increased mileage this week??0
-
Hi Becky; I get up that early so I can have a coffee before I set out. I'm usually out of the door between 5.30/5.45 so that I can get back, shower, eat and be at work at a reasonable time - it gets a bit tight when I've got 08.30 meetings though.:rotfl:
I've found that the increased mileage has meant that my legs are a bit tired this week but it's not too bad. I was quite prepared to cut the hilly run short this morning but my legs felt better the further I ran and I kept it really slow. I'll take it really slowly again tomorrow as I don't want to overdo it before Sunday's run.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
Evening

Well done EC on your 10km, hope you're pleased with your time.
Good running Simply - you must have a natural pace to be that consistent.
Sorry you had a bad run Becky but 9 miles with a stitch is still good going.
Intervals today and was pleased with results - I did a 0.9 mile warm up and 1.25 mile warm down too.
Mon 10/8 7.05m 1:18:02 (11.04/mile)
Tues 11/8 8.04m (with hills) 1:3102 (11.19/mile)
Weds 12/8 4.63miles 0:49:16 (10:39/mile)
Thurs 13/8 3 mile intervals (09:43,09:23,09:34)
Fri 14/8 Rest day0 -
That all sounds really good

Remember you have a few 20 milers so if you dont make this one dont worry - I had a funny experience at 19 miles the first time and had to stop so just be aware you may feel a bit odd - its total glycogen depletion and the 20 milers train the body to delay this till later in the race but the first few times can be rough (like hitting the wall but slower!)...0 -
Well done on the intervals Evab - looks like you've paced them really well - the middle one should always be the quickest - you'll find the more you do them the closer together they will get too!
Are you going to a rolling programe or just 1 mile reps?0 -
Thanks for the warning about the 20 miler Becky - I admit that I'm a bit apprehensive and have my fingers crossed for rain on Sunday.
Well done on the intervals evab - enjoy your rest day tomorrow.

Would the rolling programme be more beneficial for me?0

Ooh 20 miles, hope it goes OK simply x0
